2 No Warranty on Image Quality
HEICtoJPG Pro offers browser-side conversion of HEIC/HEIF image files to JPEG, PNG, and WEBP formats. Although our Tool is designed to produce high-fidelity output with adjustable quality settings, we make no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, or quality of any converted image file.
Image conversion is an inherently lossy process for certain format combinations. The following quality-related considerations apply when using our Tool:
- Converting from HEIC to JPEG always involves some degree of lossy compression unless the quality slider is set to maximum (100%). Pixel-perfect lossless reproduction is not guaranteed.
- Color profile translation (from HEVC-encoded HDR color spaces to sRGB) may result in subtle differences in perceived brightness, saturation, or contrast depending on your display calibration.
- EXIF metadata, GPS coordinates, and camera settings embedded in the original HEIC file may be partially or fully stripped or altered during conversion, depending on browser JavaScript engine behavior and the heic2any library version in use.
- Thumbnail and embedded preview data may not be preserved in the output file.
- Animated HEIC sequences (if any) may not be converted frame-by-frame in all browsers.
- Output quality may vary between different browser engines (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) due to differences in their underlying Canvas and image encoding APIs.
We strongly recommend verifying converted output files before use in professional, commercial, archival, or print contexts. HEICtoJPG Pro shall not be liable for any quality-related outcome arising from use of the Tool.
Always keep your original HEIC files as a backup. Set the quality slider to 90–100% when precision matters, and verify output images in your target application before discarding originals.
3 Third-Party Service Disclaimer
HEICtoJPG Pro relies on the following open-source, third-party JavaScript libraries to deliver its core functionality:
- heic2any (MIT License) — A client-side JavaScript library used to decode Apple HEIC/HEIF image containers and transcode them to JPEG, PNG, or WEBP blobs within the browser. Published and maintained at github.com/alexcorvi/heic2any.
- JSZip (MIT / GPLv3 License) — A client-side JavaScript library used to package multiple converted image files into a downloadable ZIP archive. Published and maintained at stuk.github.io/jszip.
HEICtoJPG Pro is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the developers or maintainers of heic2any or JSZip. These libraries are incorporated under their respective open-source licenses.
We make no independent warranty regarding the functionality, security, accuracy, or continued availability of these third-party libraries. Their behavior is governed by their own maintainers and licenses, and may change at any time without notice to us. Any bugs, failures, incorrect output, or security vulnerabilities originating from these libraries are beyond our direct control, and HEICtoJPG Pro accepts no liability for issues caused by third-party library behavior.
These libraries are loaded from external CDN providers (cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net). While we strive to reference stable, versioned CDN URLs, we cannot guarantee the perpetual availability or integrity of externally hosted script files.

You retain full ownership and copyright of all images you process using HEICtoJPG Pro. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over any files you upload to, process through, or download from our Tool.
Because all conversion occurs entirely within your browser's local memory, your image files never leave your device and are never transmitted to our servers, stored in our databases, or accessed by any HEICtoJPG Pro personnel. We have no access to, and therefore acquire no rights over, any content you convert.
However, you represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner of, or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and consents to convert, download, and use any image files you process through our Tool. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your use of the converted output complies with applicable copyright law, third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, and any contractual restrictions.
- You must not use HEICtoJPG Pro to convert images that infringe on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights.
- You must not use converted output in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
